📝Eligibility Criteria for Employment Certificate?


Age Limit: All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the Employment Exchange of the State of Assam.

🔁 How to Renew Employment Exchange Registration?


Employment Exchange Registration must be renewed every 3 years. Here's how you can do it:

a) Login to your account at employment.assam.gov.in.

b) Go to “Renewal Section”.

c) Select your exchange card and click on Renew.

d) Update any changes, if needed

e) Submit the renewal request.

f) Once processed, download the renewed card.

Note: Renew your registration before the expiry date. If your card expires, you may need to register again from the beginning.

Registration Fee for Employment Certificate


Employment Exchange Registration is completely a free process and candidates do not need to pay any registration/ application fee to obtain Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in Assam.

Renewal of Employment Registration Certificate


i) Every registrant shall renew his /her registration once in three (3) years in the due month as indicated on his/her Registration card.
ii) Failure to renew the registration even after lapse of grace period (3 months), will lead to cancellation of registration and subsequent removal from Live Register maintained in the Employment Exchange.
iii) No request for renewal of registration after the expiry of the due month and grace period shall be entertained under any circumstances.

After successful registration, you will receive a unique Employment Exchange Registration Number and X10 card, which can be downloaded from the portal. This card is essential for applying to many government jobs in Assam.
