1. Name of post: Junior Engineer (Civil) [contract basis]

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Desirable:
a) Having minimum 01 (one) year working experience in relevant field.
b) Having proficient knowledge in AUTOCAD
Salary: Consolidated fixed pay of Rs.31,400/- (Rupees Thirty One Thousand Four Hundred) only per month
2. Name of post: Assistant Professor on contract basis in the Department of Assamese

Essential Qualification:
Post No. 1: Master's Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade. The candidate must have NET/ SLET/ SET or Ph.D.
Post No. 2: Master's Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade. The candidate must have NET/ SLET/ SET or Ph.D. Preferably having good command over in Translation Studies and Communicative Assamese.
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
How to Apply for DU Recruitment 2026?
i) For the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format of the University along with all the necessary testimonials and Money Receipt/ Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred) only, drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University payable at Punjab National Bank, Dibrugarh University Branch (Code 994000), Dibrugarh. The applications must reach the Registrar, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh-786004, Assam on or before 24th February, 2026.
ii) For the post of Assistant Professor in Assamese, candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 06th March 2026 (Friday) at 11.00 a.m, in the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hall, Office of the Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University, Assam. Interested candidates having the requisite qualification may appear in the interview with copies of biodata, attested copies of all testimonials, publications and experience certificate (if any) along with the original certificates of qualifications/testimonials for verification. Candidate shall be required to pay an amount of Rupees Five Hundred (Rs. 500/-) only as Registration Fee.
