DTE, Assam Syllabus 2020: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has released a notification regarding selection process and syllabus for the recruitment to the post of Lecturer (Technical & Non-Technical) for Five newly established Polytechnics under Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.
Written Test:
The candidates will have to appear in a Written Test of the relevant Branch/ Subject as per the following structure.
Structure of Written Test:

| 2 | Lecturer (Non-Tech except Commerce/ Humanities) | 100 | 2 hours |
| 3 | Lecturer (Non-Tech: Commerce/ Humanities) | 100 | 2 hours |
Marking pattern in the Written Test: 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Syllabus:
◆ For Lecturer (Tech): As per the GATE 2020 syllabus of the relevant Branches.
◆ For Lecturer (Non-Tech. except Commerce/ Humanities): As per PG level syllabus for relevant Subjects.
◆ For Lecturer (Non-Tech.: Commerce/ Humanities): As per PG level syllabus of the subjects: Economics, Accountancy, Management & Sociology.
● The short listed candidates will be called for document verification before final selection.
● Merely allowing a candidate to appear in the Written Test does not imply fulfillment of the
eligibility criteria for the post.
