Selection Process of Oil India Limited Recruitment

- Grade B and Grade C: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Personal Interview.
- Grade A: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Proficiency Test / Skill Test.
- Medical Examination: Appointment of provisionally selected candidates is subject to medical fitness as per the physical fitness standards available on OIL’s official website. Candidates must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) at OIL Hospital, Duliajan, Assam, or through a Government Medical Officer of at least Civil Surgeon rank or an authorized medical officer at a hospital empaneled by OIL.

Grade B and Grade C Posts
The CBT duration is 90 minutes. Candidates qualifying in the CBT are shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio, based on CBT marks.
Grade A Posts
The CBT lasts 90 minutes. The skill test is qualifying in nature and carries no weightage in the final merit list. Candidates qualifying in the CBT are shortlisted for the skill test in a 1:2 ratio.
- Hindi Officer: The skill test may include translation, essay writing, computer applications and bilingual typing.
- Confidential Secretary: The skill test includes shorthand and transcription.
