Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th standard or matriculation from a recognized institution or board.
Age Limit: The candidates should be minimum 30 years of age as on 01/01/2026.
Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/ she seeks appointment.
Property: Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/ her name in the area in which he/ she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
Children: Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/ multiple partner.
Government Employee: The candidate should not be a government employee.
Political Party: The candidate should not be a member of any political party.
Physical Fitness: Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind.
Insolvency: Candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues.

How to Apply for DC Kamrup Recruitment ?
Candidates must submit their application in the Assam Gazette Standard form of application within stipulated date. Candidates need to submit their filled in application along with all required documents at the Land Revenue Branch of the Integrated District Commissioner Office, Kamrup, Amingaon (1st Floor) latest by 20th August 2026.
Required Documents
Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:
- Educational qualification Certificate, Mark sheet, Admit Card of HSLC.
- Age proof Certificate (i.e birth Certificate issued by the competent authority or HSLC Admit Card/Certificates issued by the recognized Board/Council).
- Three recent passport size colour photographs of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm with white background.
- PAN Card.
- Voter ID Card.
- Small Family Norms affidavit/Self Declaration stating that the applicant does not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single/multiple partners (as per Govt. Notification No.RLR.187/2007/Pt/24, Dtd.-19-07-2019.
- Jamabandi in respect of the applicant or his/her parents of the concerned village against which he/she is applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan to show that he/she has land or immovable property in that village.
- Mouzadar certificate confirming that the applicant belongs to the village where he/she is applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Self-declaration stating that he/she does not belong to any political party and not a government employee.
- Bakijai clearance certificate.
- Cast certificate (if any).
