The Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) - 2025] is an all-India test conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various Undergraduate Programmes in all Central Universities under Ministry of Education, and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities/ Participating Universities (State/Deemed/Private).

Eligibility Criteria of CUET Exam
Age Limit: For appearing in the CUET (UG) - 2026, there is no age limit for the candidates.
Educational Qualification: The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2026 can appear in the CUET (UG) - 2026 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.

How to Apply for CUET ?
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for CUET Exam by visiting at official online portal of NTA CUET. They may follow below mentioned steps.
a) Scroll down, go to Important Web-Links section.
b) Click on Online Application Form link.
c) A new webpage will be opened.
d) Enter all your personal and educational details as required.
e) Upload your passport sized photograph and signature and other required documents.
f) Pay the application fee as per your category and at the end click on submit button.
g) Don't forget to take a print of submitted application form.

Total subjects: 37 (13 Indian languages + 23 domain-specific subjects + 01 General Aptitude Test)
Choice of Test Paper: Candidates may choose upto a maximum of five (05) subjects including languages and General Aptitude Test irrespective of the subjects opted in class XII.

Language: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, and Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.

General Test: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts Arithmetic / Algebra / Geometry / Mensuration / Statistics), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
