Category-wise vacancy:
- Lower Primary (LP) Teacher: To be updated
- Upper Primary (UP) Teacher: To be updated
Pay scale: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019

Eligibility Criteria for DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment
Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2025.
Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:
● Ex-Servicemen: 42 years
● OBC/ MOBC: 43 years
● SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years
● Persons with Disability (PwD): 50 years
Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms.
Teaching Experience: The candidate must complete minimum 3 years of continuous service as on 30th September, 2025 as Contractual and State Pool teachers under SSA.
Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate wishes to apply
Current Employment Status: The candidate, as on 30th September, 2025, must be working as Contractual and State Pool Teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) .
Educational Qualification: Post-wise educational qualifications for each posts are as mentioned below.
Assistant Teacher (LP):
Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Assistant Teacher (UP):
Qualification: Graduate from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
Science Teacher (UP):
Qualification: B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) .
Hindi Teacher (UP):
Qualification: Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).

Step 05: After submitting the online application, the candidates will get a Unique Number against the submitted application and will keep the printout of the unique Number for all future references.
Step 06: Candidates should be cautious while submitting the online application as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll Number of Assam TET examination, they will not be allowed to submit the online application for second time.

● HSLC Admit Card.
● HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
● Degree Mark-sheet and Certificate.
● Any Other Mark-sheet and Certificate of Higher Education.
● DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
● Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(PVST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
● Certificate NCC (Only B or C Category only), Sports & Cultural (if represented state at National Level).
● Certificate and Mark sheet of Assam TET.
● Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
● Certificate of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by appropriate authority.
● Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
● Scanned Signature.
