- Chemical Engineering: 8
- Mechanical Engineering: 5
- Computer Science/IT: 5
Stipend per month: Rs 12,300/-
Educational Qualification:
- BE / BTech in Chemical Engineering
- BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- BE / BTech in Computer Science/IT
2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma)
No of posts: 11 posts
Disciplines:
- IT/Computer Sc and Engineering/ Computer Engineering: 2
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Computer Engineering: 2
- Mechanical Engineering: 5
- Electrical Engineering: 2
Stipend per month: Rs 10,900/-
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in IT/Computer Sc and Engineering/ Computer Engineering
- Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Computer Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Other Criteria of CSIR NEIST Jorhat Recruitment
Age Limit:
- Graduate Apprentice: Minimum 21 and Maximum 27 years as on closing date.
- Technician Apprentice: Minimum 18 and Maximum 25 years as on closing date.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rule for reserved categories.
Application Fee: No application fee is to be paid by candidates.
How to Apply for CSIR-NEIST Jorhat Recruitment?
a) Students should apply in online mode to email (rpbdhrneist@gmail.com) with subject as Apprentice Category/ Post Code.
b) Applicants have to send the filled-in “Application Form” (Form to be Downloaded from CSIR-NEIST Website) to the email rpbdhrneist@gmail.com before last date.
The mail should have the subject as “Application for the post of Apprentices :: Advt No."
c) Candidates for Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice (Diploma) are required to register themselves in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal (www.mhrdnats.in). Validity of NATS Registration should be at least up to 31/12/2027. Each Candidate must have verified 16-Digit NATS ID.
d) Candidates with essentials qualification in regular mode courses are only eligible.

- Last Date of online application submission: 12th March 2026 up to 5 PM.
