North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR NEIST) Jorhat Assam has invited application for the recruitment of 10 Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Driver (Non- Technical) posts in CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

1. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
No of posts: 09 posts
Category-wise vacancy:
- UR: 04
- EWS: 01
- OBC(NCL): 02
- SC: 01
- ST: 01
Upper Age Limit: Must be maximum age of 25 years.
Pay Matrix: Level 1
Essential Qualification: Candidates must be Matriculation or equivalent exam pass.
Desirable Qualification: It is desirable to be Intermediate (12th class) pass.
2. Driver (Non- Technical)
No of posts: 01 post (UR)
Upper Age Limit: Must be maximum age of 27 years.
Pay Matrix: Level 2
Essential Qualification: Candidates must be Matriculation or equivalent exam pass.
Professional Qualification:
I. Possession of valid driving license for LMV and HMV.
II. Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle)
III. Experience of driving a motor car for at least 3 years.

Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

- SSC/10th certificate & Mark sheet (reflecting Date of Birth).
- Intermediate/10+2/Diploma Certificate & Mark sheet (wherever applicable).
- ITI certificate (wherever applicable).
- Latest Caste/Category certificate etc. in the prescribed Government of India format
- signed by the specific authority, wherever applicable.
- Driving Licence (wherever applicable).
- No Objection Certificate with vigilance clearance (wherever applicable).
- Certificate (s) related to higher qualification, if any.
- State Bank Collect payment receipt.
- Certificate related to PwBD/ Women seeking age relaxation etc. (wherever applicable) in the prescribed format.
- Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths or the Municipal Corporation or any other prescribed authority, whosoever has been empowered under the Registration of Birth and Deaths Act, 1969 to register the birth of a child born in India (only if DOB not mentioned in Secondary or Senior Secondary School Certificate).
- Any other relevant certificate/ document.
