1. Name of post: Staff Nurse
No. of posts: 64
Salary: Rs. 53,880/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification:
- General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing. OR Basic or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Candidates should be eligible to register with Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council.
- General Nursing & Midwifery & Basic or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) should be recognized by Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council.
Essential Experience: 1-year clinical experience in a 50 bedded hospital. Hepatitis B vaccination to be completed. Clinical experience before post Basic B.Sc. shall also be considered.
Age Limit: 29 years (5 years relaxable for in service candidates of TMC)
2. Name of post: Staff Nurse (Grade-II)
No. of posts: 42
Salary: Rs. 57,120/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification:
- General Nursing & Midwifery plus Diploma in Oncology Nursing. OR B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Qualification must be from recognized university.
- Candidates should be eligible to register with Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in a 100 bedded hospital. Hepatitis B vaccination to be completed. Clinical experience before post Basic B.Sc. shall also be considered.
Age Limit: 34 years (5 years relaxable for in service candidates of TMC)
3. Name of post: Leading Fireman
No. of posts: 3
Salary: Rs. 30,600/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass or equivalent.
- Candidate should have completed Fire training from any State Fire Service Academy/ Diploma in Fire & Safety recognized by Technical Education Board or State Government with 3 years’ working experience in any Industry/ Hospital/ Hotel. Preference to candidates who have well versed knowledge of working on Conventional and Addressable firefighting system, Suppression system.
Age Limit: Minimum 25 years & Maximum 30 years (5 years relaxable for in service candidates of TMC)
4. Name of post: Attendant

Salary: Rs. 21,600/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification:10th or equivalent pass from recognized board.
Age Limit: 24 years (5 year relaxable for in service candidates of TMC)
5. Name of post: Trade Helper
No. of posts: 10
Salary: Rs. 21,600/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification: 10th or equivalent pass from recognized board.
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 01 years’ experience in maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of equipment’s in Operation Theatre/ ICU/ Diagnostics services/ Laboratory/ Engineering etc., Miscellaneous office Works etc.
Age Limit: 24 years (5 year relaxable for in service candidates of TMC)
6. Name of post: Clerk cum Telephone Operator
No. of posts: 4
Salary: Rs. 23,880/- per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University with Telephone Operator’s Course.
Experience: Excellent communication skills and minimum 1 years’ experience of handling Exchange Board preferably EPBAX in a reputed Institute/ Hospital. Ability to converse in English, Hindi and Local Language.
Age Limit: 26 years (5 year relaxable for in service candidates of TMC)
Other Details of Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute Recruitment
Place of Posting: Dr. B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati.
Duration: Appointment is for 6 (Six) months, which is extendable solely based on the performance till co-terminus with project. The candidate will have NO right to claim for permanent employment under the mentioned project/ BBCI or for continuation of his/ her services in any other project.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation maximum by 5 years for TMC employees and employees working in TMC on temporary basis/ under project/ on contract basis etc.
