Agriculture Recruitment 2026
1. Deputy Project Director
No. of Posts: 22
Monthly Salary: Rs. 52,000/-
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the Agriculture and Allied Sector.OR
- A BTM (Block Technology Manager) having 5 years of experience is also eligible to apply.
2. Accountant cum Clerk
Monthly Salary: Rs. 30,000/-
Educational Qualification: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Accountancy in a reputed organization (to the satisfaction of the State Government).
3. Computer Programmer
Monthly Salary: Rs. 25,000/-
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech in Computer Science OR
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
Experience:
- 1 Year experience for B.Tech holders.
- 2 Years experience for MCA holders.
4. Block Technology Manager (BTM)
No. of Posts: 103
Monthly Salary: Rs. 30,000/-
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate in Agriculture & Allied Sector with Computer Skills.OR
- Agriculture Graduate with a minimum of 5 years of working experience as an ATM (Assistant Technology Manager).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of field experience in Agri-related activities.
5. Assistant Technology Manager (ATM)
Monthly Salary: Rs. 25,000/-
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate (Agri/Allied Sector) OR
- Post Graduate (Agri/Allied Sector).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Agri-related activities.
Eligibility Criteria of Agriculture Department Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the online application form.

Age Limit: Candidates must adhere to the age limit criteria calculated as on 01/01/2025. The age limit varies depending on the job profile.
For Deputy Project Director, Accountant cum Clerk, and Computer Programmer:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
(As per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020)
For Block Technology Manager (BTM) and Assistant Technology Manager (ATM):
- Maximum Age: 45 Years
Note: The age of the candidate will be verified based on the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No other document will be accepted as proof of age.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
