Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Physics and Ph.D. in Physics/ Materials Science/ Polymer Science/ Nanoscience with expertise in performing electrical measurements and synthesis of functional nanomaterials and polymer nanocomposites, and fabricating freestanding films of polymer/ polymer composite materials/ advanced functional nanomaterials.
- At least 2 first author publications (in the relevant subject area) in peerreviewed national and/or international journals each having more than 2 impact factor.
Desirable Qualification:
- Expertise in handling electrical and electrochemical measurement setups. Experience of working on polymer/ functional nanomaterials related to super capacitors, energy storage, or polymer based sensing applications.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply.
Fellowship: ₹80,000/- per month (consolidated)
Duration: Appointment will be for a period of 12 (twelve) months which may be extended maximum for a period of one year (6 months at a stretch) depending on the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Age: Upper age limit is 35 years at the time of the application. Relaxation as per GoI rules.
