Assam GNM Admission 2025
Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for admission into GNM courses under Directorate of Health Service, Govt. of Assam in both Govt. and private GNM Training institutes for the session 2025 – 2026. For this purpose, an entrance examination - GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2025 will be conducted. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their online applications here for these GNM courses.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam GNM Admission
Citizenship: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for GNMEE 2025.
Residentship: Candidates must be a permanent resident of Assam and must submit a certificate in this regard.
Exception of PRC Certificate: The provision of Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) shall not be applicable to the wife/ daughter of the employees of Govt. of Assam.
Age Limit: Candidates' age must be between 17 years to 35 years as on 31st December 2025.
Age Relaxation: There is no age bar for RANM/ RLHV.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess any one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for GNM admission:
i) 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) and English with an aggregate of 40% marks.
ii) 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/ English Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognize Board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
iii) 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
iv) Registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council.
Application Fee of SSUHS GNM Admission
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs.1500/- if they belong to the General category and Rs.1200/- if they belong to SC/ST/EWS/OBC/MOBC categories, including Tai Ahom, Koch Rajbongshi, Moran, Matak, Chutia communities, and TGL/Ex-TGL category.
Payment Method: Candidates can pay their examination fee through an online payment gateway. Candidates should have any one of the following options to make the online payment – Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
