Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2024. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from 21st June 2024 to 5th July, 2024.
Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into 1st Semester Class of MCA Programme in the colleges of the State of Assam including Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat and Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati for the session 2024-2025. Eligibility Criteria of Assam JMEE Examination
Age Limit: Age must be between 20 years to 26 years as on 1st July 2024.

Educational Qualification:
i) Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
ii) A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).
Final Year Students':
i) Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply.
ii) Provisional admission shall be permitted provided that student gives an undertaking that he/she shall be able to provide final mark sheet/ certificate of qualifying examination within 2 months of taking admission failing which the admission of the student shall automatically stand cancelled.
iii) Candidates seeking provisional admission shall have to clear all subjects upto 5th Semester in degree level. These students will have to produce all mark sheets up to 5th semester for verification during Counseling.
Application Fee of ASTU JMEE Exam
- An Application Fee of Rs. 1700/- (Rupees Fifteen Hundred only) is to be paid online using “HDFC Collect Now” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents. Examination fee, once paid, is not refundable.
- Candidates must make successful online fee payment within the last date of submission of online applications. Otherwise his/her candidature will not be considered for examination. No communication regarding failure of payment, received after the last date of submission of online applications, will be entertained.
