Name of post: Head of the Department (HOD) (Professor/ Associate Professor in Education)

No. of posts: 1

Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Postgraduate degree in Sciences or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Languages.
  2. M.Ed.
  3. Ph.D. in Education
  4. Ten years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution for Professor and eight years for Associate Professor.
  5. Any other relevant qualification prescribed by the University Grants Commission for these categories of post .
2. Name of post: Assistant Professor (Liberal Discipline & Pedagogy)

No. of posts: 12

Essential Qualifications:
  1. Post-Graduate degree in Sciences (Physics or Chemistry or Botany or Zoology or Life Sciences or Bioscience) or Mathematics or Social Sciences (History or Geography or Political Science or Economics) or Languages (English or Modern Indian Languages or Classical Languages) with minimum fifty-five percent marks or its equivalent grade.
  2. B.Ed. degree with minimum fifty-five percent marks or equivalent grade.
  3. National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or in the concerned subject as prescribed by the University Grants Commission for these categories of posts.
Desirable:
  1. M.Ed. or M.Ed with specialization
  2. Ph.D. in Education.
3. Name of post: Assistant Professor (Educational Studies)

No. of posts: 4

Essential Qualifications:
  1. Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with minimum fifty-five percent marks or equivalent grade.
  2. With National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or another qualification prescribed by University Grants Commission for these categories of posts.
Desirable: Master’s degree in Psychology or Philosophy or Sociology or their allied subjects.

4. Name of post: Assistant Professor (Health & Physical Education)

No. of posts: 1

Essential Qualifications: M.P.Ed. with minimum 55% marks.

5. Name of post: Assistant Professor (Art Education)

No. of posts: 1

Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate Degree in Performing Arts/Visual Arts with minimum 55% marks
