Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:

◾ Exam Will be of Objective Type.

◾ Questions will be in the form of MCQs.

◾ There will be 4/5 options, for every question.

◾ Out of 4/5 options, only 1 option will be correct.

The DME Assam official selection process for the grade III posts is to carry out in two Stage which is mandatory for the applicants applied for the said post. The two processes are Stage 1 (Written Exam) and Stage 2 (Skill Test or interviews)

◉ Type of Exam: Written Examination & Skill Test or Interview

◉ Mode of Exam: Offline

◉ Total Marks: 100 Marks

◉ Centres of Exam: The examination centres shall be as decided by the commission depending upon the number of candidates.

The duration of the Written Test will be of 2 hours on the subjects as given below. The test will be 100 marks with 100 questions and will be completely OMR-based. Each question will carry a 1 (one) mark. The candidates will have to use a black ball pen to answer the OMR-based answer sheet.

◾ Total no of Mark: 100 marks
◾ Mark System: 1 (one) mark for right answers and 0 mark for each wrong answer
◾ Duration of the exam: Two Hours (120 Minutes)
◾ Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs)
◾ Type of answer sheet: OMR based answer sheet
◾ Question Paper Language: English.

The job applicants who applied for the Grade III post and whose applications are found correct in all aspects have to appear in a written test organised by the board after the written test procedure the progressive outcome job applicants have to appear in an interview session after that a merit list will be generated and accordingly call letter will be provided by the selection committee.

◾ Total Marks: 50 Marks
◾ Duration of the exam: 60 Minutes

The official selection process for the grade 4 posts is to carry out in two ways which is mandatory for the applicants applied for the said post. The two processes are Written and interviews.

◉ Type of Exam: Written Examination & Skill Test or Interview

◉ Mode of Exam: Offline

◉ Total Marks: 100 Marks

◉ Centres of Exam: The examination centres shall be as decided by the commission depending upon the number of candidates.

The job applicants who applied for the Grade IV post and whose applications are found correct in all aspects for the post will be named out for a written test consisting of 100 marks covering General Awareness/General Knowledge/ Current Affairs/ General English/ General Mathematics of Class VIII standards syllabus. The duration of the Written Test will be of 2(two) hour and each question will carry 1 (one) mark it is completely an OMR-based examination. The job applicants will have to use a black ball pen to answer the OMR-based answer solution.

Note: The scheme of examination shall be strictly as per the “DME Assam for Class-Ill and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022”, as amended from time to time. Further, this scheme will be published at least one week before the conduct of the written test.
