Eligibility Criteria of NICL Recruitment

Age Limit

Candidate age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1st October 2026. Candidates born not earlier than 02.10.1996 and not later than 01.10.2005 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.

 

Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

◾ SC/ ST: 5 years

◾ OBC: 3 years

◾ Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

◾ PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification

Generalist Officer	Graduate / Post Graduate in any stream with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
Finance (CA & CMA)	Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) AND Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
Legal	Graduate / Post Graduate in Law with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
Information Technology	B. E / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology / MCA with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
Automobile Engineer	B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M. Tech in Automobile Engineering OR B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M. Tech in any branch of Engineering together with Diploma (at least one year duration) in Automobile Engineering with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates
Risk Engineer	Engineering (Graduation/ Post-graduation) in any discipline excluding above two disciplines with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
Company Secretary	ACS/FCS from ICSI AND Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
Agriculture	Graduate (4 years) / Post Graduate in Agriculture/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Agricultural Engineering with at least 60% marks in either of the degree Examination (at least 55% for SC/ST/PwBD) candidates.
