Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India has invited application CEN CEN No. 05/2025 for the recruitment of 2570 Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant Posts in various RRBs. The online application process for RRB JE Vacancy 2025 will be started from 31st October 2025 to 30th November 2025.

RRB JE Recruitment 2025
Name of post: Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA)
No of posts: 2570 posts
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 33 years as on 1st January 2026.
Pay: Pay level-6, with initial pay of Rs. 35,400/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.

Other Criteria of RRB JE Recruitment
Age Limit: The relaxation of upper age limit for reserved categories are as follows:
Educational Qualification:
a) Junior Engineer Electrical: Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute
b) Junior Engineer Civil: (a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration or (b) a combination of any substream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
c) Junior Engineer/ Track Machine: (a) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
d) Junior Engineer Mechanical: Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation and Control/ Tools and Machining/ Tools and Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Industrial/ Machining/ Instrumentation and Control/ Tools and Machining/ Tools and Die Making/ Automobile/ Production Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
e) Junior Engineer/ Diesel Electrical: Three years Diploma in (a) Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
f) Junior Engineer/ S and T/ Telecommunication: Three years Diploma in (a) Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
g) Depot Material Superintendent: Three Years Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
h) Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University/ Institute.
