Assam's Pratibha Protsahan Yojana:
Raj Bhavan, Assam in partnership with two esteemed organisations, invites applications from motivated Civil Services aspirants of Assam for a prestigious scholarship program. This initiative aims to provide financial support and high-quality coaching to deserving candidates, enabling them to excel in their pursuit of becoming civil servants.
The Hon'ble Governor of Assam, has launched a ground-breaking financial assistance programme on 17th September, 2024, specifically designed for aspirants of the UPSC Civil Services Examination. This initiative aims to provide financial support and high-quality coaching to deserving candidates, enabling them to excel in their pursuit of becoming civil servants.
This program will provide support to 512 dedicated students (12 direct mode and 500 online), offering them necessary resources and mentorship to excel in both Prelims and Mains of the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

Scholarship amount:
i) The scholarship shall cover the cost of coaching fees, accommodation, and meals associated with the direct mode coaching program. Any additional costs, expenses, or personal requirements beyond those covered under the scholarship shall be the sole responsibility of the candidates.
ii) Payments will be made directly to the coaching institutes; no direct disbursements will be made to candidates. The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be deferred or converted into cash.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for this Financial Assistance scheme by visiting at official portal of Pratibha Protsahan Yojana. They may follow below mentioned steps.

d) Again click on Online Application Form and Log-in.

Selection Process of Pratibha Protsahan Yojana Assam:
Selection Process of Governor Assam's Pratibha Protsahan Yojana consists of following stages.
Screening Process:
a) Preliminary Screening of Application Forms based on Class 12th Percentage and Graduation Percentage to select the Top 5,000 aspirants who will be eligible to appear in the Screening Test
b) Screening Test for 5,000 aspirants will be held at Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar and Bongaigaon.
c) The screening test will be in written mode through OMR-based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Descriptive Essay.
d) The syllabus for the Screening Test will be the same as that of UPSC CSE (Preliminary) Examination.
e) The duration of the screening test will be 2 hours for the OMR-based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and additional 30 minutes for the Descriptive Essay.
f) Result of the screening test will be declared online through the website.
Group Counselling and Personal Interview:
a) Top 600 aspirants will be called for a group counselling session at Guwahati by the partner agencies.
b) A merit list will be prepared through which the Top 50 aspirants who prefer direct mode of coaching will appear for the Personal Interview a day after the Group Counselling Session.
c) Finally, 12 aspirants out of the 50 appearing for interview will be selected for a fully funded direct mode coaching programme at coaching centres in Delhi NCR.
d) The remaining aspirant will be selected for the Online Coaching Programme. They will be connected to the coaching centre based at Delhi NCR by online mode through a registration process.
