Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements as of 1st September 2026:
1. Educational Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in India.
- Knowledge of Computer operation.
- A minimum Typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) in English on a computer.
2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Selection Process of Supreme Court of India Recruitment
The selection process for the Junior Court Assistant post is rigorous and involves four distinct stages. Your performance across these stages will determine your final selection.
Stage 1: Objective Type Test
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
Stage 2: Typing Speed Test
- Language: English on Computer
- Speed Required: Minimum 35 w.p.m.
- Duration: 10 minutes (Max Marks: 50, Qualifying: 25)
- Mistakes Allowed: Up to 3% of total words typed.
Stage 3 & 4: Written Test (Descriptive) & Interview
- Written Test (Descriptive): 2 hours duration, 100 Marks (Qualifying: 50). Topics include Comprehension passage, Precis Writing, and Essay Writing in English. (Evaluated only for candidates who pass the typing test).
- Interview: 25 Marks (Minimum Qualifying: 13).

Candidates must pay the application fee online through the UCO Bank payment gateway. Fees are non-refundable.
