The Assam State Level EMRS Society has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 07 Contractual Guest Teachers Posts for Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs). The nature of engagement is purely contractual for the Academicyear 2025-26 or till the appointment of regular Teachers by NESTS, whichever is earlier. No. of posts: 07 (Science- 1, Mathematics-1, Assamese-4, Bodo-1)

- EMRS, Kharadhara, Dist: Bajali: 2
- EMRS, Howraghat, Dist: Karbi Anglong: 1
- EMRS, Jalah, Dist: Baksa: 1
- EMRS, Ardaopur, Dist: Dima Hasao: 2
- EMRS, Jonai, Dist: Dhemaji: 1
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/ combination of subjects and in aggregate from a recognised Institution.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognised university/autonomous institute approved by NCTE.
- Qualified in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)
- Proficiency in teaching in the English medium
Other Criteria of EMRS Recruitment
Age-Limit: A candidate must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 60 years as on 01/06/2025. Retired teachers from any State Government / KVS / NVS / recognised, reputed CBSE schools may also apply for the Guest Teachers. The maximum age limit for retired teachers shall be 65 years.
Age Relaxation:
The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years

How to Apply for EMRS Recruitment ?
The candidates will submit their applications along with relevant documents at the respective District Commissioner’s office of the concerned EMRS.
The last date for submission of applications at the District Commissioner’s office is 7th November, 2025
