Eligibility Criteria of Bank of Baroda Recruitment
Age Limit: Age of the candidates must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1st August 2026.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD - GEN/EWS: 10 years
- PwBD - OBC: 13 years
- PwBD - SC/ST: 15 years
Mandatory: Must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution.
Preferred Certification:
- IC 38 from Insurance Institute of India
- NISM Series V A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination.
- NISM Series XXI-A: Portfolio Management Services (PMS) Distributors Certification Examination.
- NISM Series XIII: Common Derivatives Certification Examination
Post Qualification Experience: Candidates must have a minimum 1 year of post qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India only.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State they are applying for (reading, writing, speaking and understanding).

Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of an online test or multiple rounds of testing, a psychometric test or any other test deemed appropriate, followed by an interview for candidates who qualify in the online test.
Online Test
Negative marking: There will be penalty for wrong answers in all sections. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
English Section: The test of English Language is only qualifying in nature, Marks secured in English Section will not be considered for Final Merit list.
Exam Centres in Assam: Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Dibrugarh, Tezpur
Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal Interview (PI)
Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in each section of the online examination as well as the required overall score to be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI).
The shortlisting will depend on the number of available vacancies, the prescribed cut-off marks, and the candidates’ overall performance in the online examination. The Bank will decide the cut-off based on these factors. Scores obtained in the online examination will not be disclosed to candidates before the interview and completion of the selection process.
For the GD/ PI, candidates must secure at least 60% marks for the General category and 55% marks for Reserved category candidates. Candidates who fail to qualify in the GD/PI will not be considered for the final selection.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates must have proficiency in the local language of the State they are applying for, including the ability to read, write, speak and understand the language.
Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the Online Examination will have to qualify in a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). Those who fail to qualify will not be permitted to appear for the Personal Interview and will be excluded from the further selection process.
However, candidates who can provide their 10th or 12th standard marksheet/certificate showing that they studied the specified local language of the State as a subject will be exempted from the Local Language Proficiency Test.
