HS Result Rechecking 2026 – HS Recheck Result
Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has released the Assam HS Final Examination 2026 results recently on 28th April 2026 (10.30 AM). Candidates who are not satisfied with their result/s may apply online at ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking Portal for re-totaling & reassessment of their answer scripts. The online "Punarikshan" process for Re-checking of Answer Scripts of Assam HS Final Exam Result 2026 will start from 1st May 2026. The Portal (link) will be opened after 2(two) Days of declaration of result of Higher Secondary Final Examination 2026.

Salient features of AHSEC Answer Script Rechecking:
i) Here is a number of important points regarding ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking 2026.
The candidate shall note that the Re-Checking of the Answer Script shall not mean Re-Evaluation of the Answer Scripts. Re-checking shall include the following points:
- Re-totaling of marks awarded by the examiner.
- Assessment of Answer(s) which has/have been left out unevaluated.
- Correction of wrong entry of marks in any manner/nature.
ii) The results of rechecking will be informed to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application.
iii) The marksheets/ certificates to the candidates, in case of any change, will be issued on submission of the original marksheets/ certificates in the board’s office through the head of the concerned school, with the intimation of the head of the institution.
iv) No such marksheets/ certificates will be sent directly to the school/ candidate or through any other agency.
v) The Results of Re-checking will be declared within 30 days from the last date of receipt of application, by Official website.
vi) Scanned copy of Answer Script will be sent to the applied candidates through E-mail given by the candidate at the time of Application.

Application Fee of AHSEC Rechecking Form:
Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/- per subject so as to complete the online application process of rechecking.
The application fee is to be paid by online mode or e-challan.
How to Apply for AHSEC Rechecking 2026 ?
Candidates who want to recheck his/her answer scripts have to apply online for rechecking of answer scripts by using below mentioned steps:
Step 01: Scroll down, check Important Web Link's section.
Step 02: Click on AHSEC Answer Script Rechecking Apply link.
Step 03: Official online application portal "Punorikshan" will be opened.
Step 04: First register yourself using your Roll, Number and Mobile Number.
Step 05: Next, Log-in using newly generated username and password .
Step 06: Fill all personal details including Roll No and subject details.
Step 07: Make payment of application fee via online or deposit at Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. branches as required.
Step 08: At the end, submit your application.
