Eligibility Criteria of SSB Recruitment
Age Limit:
- Sub-Inspector (SI): Up to 30 Years
- Asst Sub-Inspector: 18–27 Years
- Head Constable: 18–25 / 27 Years
- Constable (Driver): 21–27 Years
- Constable (Trades): 18–23 Years
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxations are as mentioned below.

Nationality/Citizenship: Candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan.
Selection Process For SSB Recruitment 2026
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Race/ running requirements (exempt for Ex-Servicemen)
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and Chest measurements.
- Written Examination: 150-mark CBT (General subjects + Technical subject)
- Documentation & Skill Test: Verification of original documents and trade-specific practical tests.
- Medical Examination: Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME)
