Eligibility Criteria of BSNL Recruitment
Age Limit: Age of the candidates should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
Age Relaxation (as per Government Rules):
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwBD (General): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India regulations
Educational Qualification:
Telecom stream: Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology degree or equivalent engineering degree with minimum 60% marks on a regular full-time basis in any of the following discipline:
1. Electronics and Telecommunications
2. Electronics
3. Computer Science
4. Information Technology
5. Electrical
6. Instrumentation
or combination of these disciplines as core with other associated emerging branches.
Finance stream:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)/
- Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA)
Application Fee: No Application Fee.
- UR/OBC/EWS: Rs. 2500/-
- SC/ST/PwBD: Rs. 1250/-
Selection Process of BSNL Vacancy
Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria will be invited for the Written Exam based on category-wise and position-wise merit lists, determined by the cut-off marks set in the BSNL Senior Executive Trainee 2026 Recruitment Selection Process.
- Written Exam (CBT) – Objective Type Questions
- Document Verification DV – Shortlisted candidates must present original documents supporting their eligibility.
BSNL Senior Executive Trainee Syllabus
Qualifying Marks (Expected):
- General/ EWS: 45%
- OBC: 40%
- SC/ ST/ PwBD: 35%
Exam Duration: 3 Hours
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
