UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited application for the recruitment of 230 Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Posts to be posted under Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment. 1. Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer

Scale of Pay: Level-08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

Age: The Category-wise maximum age limit is as mentioned below.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Eligibility Criteria of UPSC EPFO Recruitment:


Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit, which is required to apply for the vacancies. The Eligibility Criteria for UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025 are as follows:

Nationality:

The interested candidate must mandatorily be a citizen of India in order to be eligible for this post. If not, the candidate can be still considered eligible if he/she is either:
  1. a subject of Nepal/Bhutan
  2. a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India (since 1962).
  3. a person of Indian origin settled permanently in India from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Vietnam, and other East African countries.
Education Qualification:

Education Qualification for EO/AO posts: A bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university

Education Qualification for APFC posts: Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in Any Stream from any recognised university in India will be eligible for this post.

Essential: Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.

Desirable: Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration;

Selection Process of UPSC Recruitment:


Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct a pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Skill Test(s) to short-list the candidates to appear in the Skill test(s) for the post of Personal Assistant. The date of Skill Test(s) will be intimated later on UPSC website.
 
Date of test: November 2025 (expected)

Duration of test: The test will be of two hours duration

Medium of test: The medium of Question Paper is in English and Hindi except for those questions in English Language.

Centres of test in Assam: Dispur and Jorhat

Type of question: Object type MCQ

Negative marking: Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.

Syllabus of UPSC Recruitment:

 
The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics:

3Quantitative Aptitude.
4Reasoning & Computer Aptitude.
 
Note:

i) Based on the marks scored in the Recruitment test, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise to appear in the Skill Test(s) for the post(s) they have applied for.

(ii) Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. The candidates who qualify the Skill Test will be considered for final selection on the basis of merit in the recruitment test.
