Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has successfully conducted the written examination for a total of 2,473 vacancies. The written exam for Class III (Technical) posts was held on 12th January 2025 as well as Class III (Non-Technical) exam was held on 30th March 2025. Many candidates had appeared in these two recruitment exams and are now eagerly waiting for their results.
On 29 March 2025, Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam issued two important notifications regarding answer key and soft copy of OMR sheet for the examination held on 12th January 2025. According to this notification, the answer key will be available for download from 12th April However, applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs.50/- to get a soft copy of their OMR sheet.

Skill Test & Document Verification
Candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted based on their written examination performance are now directed to appear for a Skill Test and document verification. These crucial next steps will take place at the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam, located at Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati, on the dates specified in the official notification, from 10 AM onwards.
It is mandatory for all candidates to bring all the following original relevant documents, along with one set of photocopies to be deposited with the office for verification:
- Admit Card of Written Examination
- Photo ID
- Birth Certificate / Class X Pass Certificate (as Date of Birth Proof)
- All Pass Certificates from HSLC onwards
- Caste Certificate (wherever applicable)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
- Two copies of recent Passport size photographs
- Any other relevant documents/certificates
