1. Name of post: Case Worker
No. of posts: 2
Educational Qualification: The case worker should be women, a resident of the local community and possess the following basic qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in law/ social work/ sociology/ social science/ Psychology
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience of working on women related relevant domains in a government or non-government projects/programme. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
2. Name of post: Counsellor
No. of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: The counsellor should be a women, a resident of the local community and possess the following basic qualifications: Degree/ Diploma in Psychology/ Psychiatry/ Neurosciences with a background in the health sector/ Social Work/ Sociology.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience of working with a government or non-government health
project/ programme at the District level. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month
3. Name of post: Office Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Educational Qualification: Office assistant, preferably a women having Bachelor’s degree with a diploma in Computer/ IT etc.
Experience: Having 3 years’ experience in office documentation and web based reporting formats, video conferencing at state or district level with government or nongovernmental/ IT based organization.
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
4. Name of post: Multi Purpose Worker
No. of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: MPW, should be a women. High school passed or equivalent will be preferred.
Experience: Any women who is literate with knowledge/ experience of working in the relevant domain. The applicant should be preferable a resident of Majuli District.
Salary: Rs. 14,000/- per month
5. Name of post: Security Guard
No. of posts: 2
Educational Qualification: HSLC passed.
Experience: Any person minimum 2 years of experience of working as a security personnel in a government or reputed organization at the District/State level. Preference will be given to retired military/ paramilitary personnel also the applicant should be resident of Majuli District.
Salary: Rs. 12,000/- per month.

a) Interested candidates having the requisite qualifications and experiences may submit filled up standard form of Application (Assam gazette of part IX) to “The Social Welfare Officer, Majuli, Assam accompanied by resume and self-attested copies of testimonials relating to educational qualification, experience etc. along with a valid email-id and contact number.
b) The Application should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly mentioning the post applied for at the top and addressed to the office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Majuli.
c) Application must reach to the office of the District Social Welfare officer, Majuli, Civil Tiniali, Garamur, Pin-785104, Assam on or before 17/06/2026 by 5 pm.
