Assam Fishery Department Recruitment 2025
1. State Programme Manager (SPM)No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration: Rs. 70,000 per month
Educational Qualification: Masters in Fisheries Science/M.Sc. in Zoology/M.Sc. in Marine Sciences/M.Sc. in Marine Biology/Masters in Fisheries Economics/Industrial Fisheries/Fisheries Business Management.
Desirable:
- Doctorate in the above disciplines.
- A degree in Management. Preference will be given for Agri. Business Management
- Knowledge of Information Technology (IT)/Computer Applications.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 year’s domain experience in any area of Fisheries and Aquaculture in respect of State Program Manager.
- Minimum 5 years domain experience in any area of Fisheries and Aquaculture in respect of Deputy State Program Manager.
Age Limit: Not more than 45 years.
2. Deputy State Programme Manager (DSPM)
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration: Rs. 55,000 per month
Educational Qualification: Masters in Fisheries Science/M.Sc. in Zoology/M.Sc. in Marine Sciences/M.Sc. in Marine Biology/Masters in Fisheries Economics/Industrial Fisheries/Fisheries Business Management.
Desirable:
- Doctorate in the above disciplines.

Educational Qualification:
- Master of Fisheries Science/ M.Sc in Zoology/ M.Sc in Marine Science/ M.Sc in Marine Biology/ Master in Fisheries Economics/ Industrial Fisheries/ Fisheries Business Management.
- Minimum a Diploma in Information Technology (IT) / Computer Application.
Desirable: A degree in management. Preference will be given for Agri Business management.
Experience: Minimum 3 years domain experience in any area of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.

a) Walk-in Interview will be held on 3rd & 4th Nov., 2025 from 09.30 AM onwards in Directorate of Fisheries, Assam, Meen Bhawan, Gopinath Nagar, Guwahati-781016.
b) Eligible and interested candidates intending to attend the Walk-in Interview must register on the day of interview between 09:30 AM and 11:00 AM. No registrations will be accepted after the scheduled time.
