The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26, launched by SBI Foundation, is one of India's largest scholarship initiatives designed to empower meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds. The program ensures that financial challenges do not hinder access to quality education, supporting students across multiple levels and disciplines.
Applications are now open for the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26, a flagship initiative by the SBI Foundation to empower meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds. All 1st year UG and 1st year PG students are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria of SBI Asha Student Scholarships
1. School Students (Classes 9-12):
- Students with ≥ 75% marks in the previous academic year (67.5% for SC/ST)
- Annual family income ≤ 23,00,000
- Scholarship Amount: Up to 215,000
2. Undergraduate Students:
- Students with ≥ 75% marks or 7 CGPA
- Annual family income ≤ 26,00,000
- Enrolled in institutions ranked within the top 300 NIRF
- Scholarship Amount: Up to 275,000
3. Postgraduate Students:
- Students with ≥ 75% marks or 7 CGPА
- Annual family income ≤ 26,00,000
- Studying in top 300 NIRF-ranked institutions
- Scholarship Amount: Up to 22,50,000
4. Medical Students:
- Students with ≥ 75% marks or 7 CGPA
- Annual family income ≤ 26,00,000
- Enrolled in top-ranking medical colleges in India
- Scholarship Amount: Up to 24,50,000
5. IIT & IIM Students:
- Students with ≥ 75% marks or 7 CGPА
- Annual family income ≤ 26,00,000
- Studying at IITs or IIMs
- Scholarship Amount: Up to 25,00,000
6. Overseas Studies (For SC/ST Students Only):
- Admission to Top 200 Global Institutions
- Annual family income ≤ 26,00,000
- Scholarship Amount: Up to 220,00,000
SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Details
- Awards range from INR 15,000 to up to INR 20 lakh, depending on the course and level of study.
- The scholarship is renewable every year, subject to the student maintaining the required eligibility.
