Cotton University, Guwahati, has invited application for the recruitment of 18 Project Assistants under the ANRF-funded ANRF-PAIR Grant titled “JNU-PAIR Network on Science for Sustainable Future”. The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates with backgrounds in Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science (AI/ML), and Life Sciences are invited to apply online via Google Form.

Eligibility Criteria of Cotton University Project Assistant Recruitment

1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7	Chemistry	M.Sc. in Inorganic / Organic Chemistry with min 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH).	Synthesis of coordination polymers, organic/inorganic hybrids, nanomaterials, or AIE molecules.
4	Computer Science / AI	MCA / M.Tech in First Division (Graduate & Post Graduate level).	AI/ML Focus: Python, Deep Learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras), OpenCV, and bio-medical imaging applications.
8, 9, 10	Physics	M.Sc. in Physics with min 60% marks.	Specialization in Solid State/Semiconductor Physics. Exp in Nanomaterials, Hydrogen fuel, or Carbon-based materials.
11, 12, 13, 14	Chemistry	M.Sc. in Inorganic / Organic Chemistry with min 55-60% marks.	Hybrid materials synthesis, Spectroscopic analysis, or handling Gaussian09 software.
15, 16, 17, 18	Life Sciences	Post Graduate in Botany / Zoology / Env. Science / Biotech / Biochemistry with min 55% marks.	Wet lab experience, Environmental chemistry, Plant stress biology (metalloid toxicity), handling biomedical samples.

Emoluments per month: Rs. 20,000/-+ 20%HRA

Selection Process of Project Assistant Vacancy

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and called for an interview (offline mode). No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
