Indian Navy has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) – January 2027 from unmarried men and women candidates . Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.
On successfully completed the course, candidates will be awarded a 4 year B Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala as well as commissioned as Permanent Commissioned Officers in Technical branches of Indian Navy. Minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

Age Limit: Candidates must born between 02nd Jul 2007 and 01st Jan 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII.
JEE Score: Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) - 2026 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2026 published by NTA.
Selection Process
Shortlisting: Naval Headquarters will shortlist the applications based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2026.
SSB Interview: SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bengaluru/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Sep 2026 onwards.
Common Merit list: Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks and medical fitness. Candidates would be appointed subject to Police Verification and Character Verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.
