i) Postgraduate degree in Science or Mathematics or Social Science or Commerce or Languages
ii) M.Ed

iv) Ten years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution for Professor and eight years for Associate Professor

2. Assistant Professor - in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy

Discipline wise vacancy:
i) Postgraduate degree in the concerned Subjects or Languages (English or Modern Indian Languages or Classical Languages) with minimum 55% marks.
ii) B.Ed degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
iii) National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or in the concerned subject as prescribed by the UGC for these categories of posts.
3. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies (Psychology or Philosophy or Sociology or other allied subjects)

Essential Qualification:
i) Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
ii) National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or any other qualification prescribed by UGC for these categories of posts.
4. Assistant Professor in Health and Physical Education

Essential Qualification: Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
