Eligibility Criteria of BSF Constable Recruitment:
Age Limit: Candidate age must not below 18 years or over 25 years as on 23rd August 2025.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th Class or equivalent exam.
Other Qualification:
a) Constable(Carpenter), Constable(Plumber), Constable(Painter), Constable(Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator) and Constable (Upholster):
i) Two years certificate course from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade;
or
ii) One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute or Government affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one (year experience in the trade;
b) Constable(Cobbler), Constable(Tailor), Constable(Washerman), Constable(Barber), Constable(Sweeper) and Constable(Khoji/Syce):
i) Must be proficient in respective trade;
ii) Must qualify trade test in the respective trade conducted by recruitment board.
c) Constable(Cook), Constable(Water Carrier) and Constable(Waiter):
National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I Course in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or from the Institutes recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.
