Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is the entrance examination organized by Govt. of Assam for admission in to various B.Tech. programme in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2026 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).
Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of Combined Entrance Examination (CEE 2026) for Admission into B.Tech. programme For the Academic Session 2026 - 2027 in the Engineering Colleges of Assam. Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or appearing in 10+2 exam may apply online here.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam CEE Exam
To be eligible for admission to any of the colleges a candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
Resident-ship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) in single sitting, without any grace marks in the Mandatory of the relevant subjects/ courses at 10+2 level and also must be passed individually both in Theory & Practical.
Qualifying Marks: Candidate must secure a minimum of 45 % (40 % in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the subjects taken together) in the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standards) as per AICTE Approval Process Hand Book-2024-2027.
OR
Candidates who have passed 3-years Diploma in Engineering & Technology under State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the Final Diploma Examination .
Age Limit: The candidate must not be below 17 years on the date of registration to appear CEE. There is no maximum age limit.
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral character. (Certificate from the head of Institute last attended to be submitted).
Fitness: The Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. (Medical Certificate from the Medical Officer / Medical Practitioner to be submitted.)
Application Fee of Assam CEE
Candidates need to pay an Application Fee of amount Rs. 1350/- (Eight hundred and fifty only)
Payment Mode: This application fee can de made through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Fee once paid, is not refundable.
Payment status will be successful after 1 or 2 days. If payment status still persists pending after 2 days please contact Helpline No. available in the website, immediately.
Assam CEE 2026 Admit Card
The ASTU authority will release the Assam CEE admit card 2026 on the official website.

The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 15 days before the exam and up to the date of examination by entering his/her application form number/User name and Password generated during submission of online application.
Assam CEE 2026 Counselling
Mode of Counselling: Offline
The exam conducting authorities conduct the counseling process. The seat will be allotted to candidates as per their merit rank in Assam CEE 2026 courses and colleges preference, and availability of seats. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will be required to online upload their documents and CEE form available on the counselling website.

To participate in the Assam CEE counselling 2025, candidates had to register and fill in choices of institutes on the official website. The allotted institute will online verify the documents post-admission status.

Step 03: A new webpage will be opened.
Step 04: Enter all your personal and educational details as required.
Step 05: Upload your passport sized photograph and signature and other required documents.
Step 06: Pay the application fee as per your category and at the end click on submit button.
Step 07: Don't forget to take a print of submitted application form.
