1. Librarian

No of posts: 1 (UR)

Pay: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,18,200/- (Academic Level 14)

Educational Qualification & Experience: As per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.

2. Assistant Librarian

No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 57,700-Rs. 1,82,400/- (Academic Level 10)

Educational Qualification & Experience: As per the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.

3. Finance Officer

No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 30,000-Rs. 1,10,000 + GP Rs. 14,500

Educational Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University along with at least 8 years of experience in Finance and Accounts in a University or Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking/ Research Organization.

4. Junior Assistant

No of posts: 2, [UR & OBC]

Pay: Rs. 14,000-Rs. 49,000 + GP Rs. 8,700

Educational Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University, Minimum of One year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognized University or Institution. Must have proficiency in local language.

5. Accounts Assistant

No of posts: 1, [UR]

Pay: Rs. 14,000-Rs. 49,000 + GP Rs. 8,700

Educational Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University, Minimum of One Year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognized University or Institution. Must have proficiency in local language.

6. Office Assistant (MTS)

No of posts: 5, [UR: 3, OBC: 1, STP: 1]

Pay: Rs. 12,000-Rs. 37,500 + GP Rs. 4,400

Educational Qualification & Experience: Minimum Educational Qualification- HSLC (Class X) or equivalent Examination passed from a recognized Board. The highest educational qualification for the post shall be class XII (HSSLC) or equivalent examination passed and candidates having higher qualification shall not be eligible. Must have proficiency in local language.

Age Limit:

The applicants applying for the posts shall not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on the last date of application. (For post 4 to post 6)

Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 2 years for Ex-Serviceman and 10 years for PWD is applicable as per Assam Govt. Guidelines. The age of the candidate will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council.

Librarian & Assistant Librarian: Rs. 3000/- (in case of SC/ ST candidate Rs. 1500/-)
Finance Officer: Rs. 2000/- (in case of SC/ ST candidate, Rs. 1000/-)
Junior Assistant, Accounts Assistant, MTS: Rs. 1000/- (in case of SC/ ST candidate, Rs. 500/-)
