Eligibility Criteria of AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 (Forty-five) years as on the date of publishing this notification in Institute website.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (OH-OL & BL): 10 years
Essential Qualifications:
a) A Post Graduation Medical Degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) or Equivalent in relevant discipline; MDS for Dentistry from recognized University/ Institute as under the Residency Scheme. All the terms and conditions of the Scheme will be applicable.
Essential Qualification for Non-Medical Candidates in the following disciplines:
1. Anatomy: – M.Sc., PhD (Human Anatomy)
2. Physiology: – M.Sc., PhD (Medical Physiology / Physiology)
3. Biochemistry: – M.Sc., PhD (Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry)
4. Microbiology: – M.Sc., PhD (Medical Microbiology / Microbiology)
Pay Scale: Level 11 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (pre-revised pay band-3, Rs 15,600/- + 6,600/- (GP) with entry pay of Rs. 67,700/- per month plus usual allowance as admissible. Allowance and perks will be admissible as per the rules besides Pay & NPA (for medical candidates only).

Selection Procedure
- The candidate can apply for more than one post out of enlisted Departments. However, to apply for more than one post, he/she is required to fill in the attached form separately along with application fees.
- The merit list for all categories i.e., UR / EWS / OBC/ SC / ST (selected and waiting list) shall be prepared on the basis of personal interview.
- Selected candidates will have to report for document verification following which the offers of appointment will be issued to the successful candidates subject to Verification of their documents and found in order.
- Any vacancy arising because of non-joining of the selected candidates in this selection or on resignation of candidates; selected post will be offered to the candidates from waiting list according to their merit list. All applicants must provide phone numbers and e-mail for faster communication.
- Qualification/Experience/Age/etc. will be considered up to the date of publication of this notification in institute website.
