ITI Admission 2024
Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has released the official ITI admission notification 2024 for admission into Government and private ITIs of Assam for the session 2024-2025. Interested and eligible candidates of Assam may apply online at www.itiassam.nic.in for admission in NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC, NCVT under IMC (NCVT & SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsman Training Scheme.

Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi Media Animation and Special Effects, Digital Photographer, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Secretarial Practice (English), Cosmetology, Front Office Assistant, Fire Technology & Industrial Safety Management
Duration: 01 year
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class or its equivalent
2. Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
Duration: 01 year
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination
3. BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)
Duration: 6 months
Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination
4. Mechanic Diesel , Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Mechanic Tractor, Mechanic Auto Body Repair, , Solar Technician

How to Apply for ITI Assam Admission ?
Interested and eligible candidates must first register their name online by visiting official ITI Admission Portal. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to apply for these courses.
a) Scroll down, go to Important Web-Links section .
b) Click on the "Online Registration" and complete the registration process by clicking "New Candidate Registration".
c) After that again click on Online Registration Link and login with your Application Number & Password.
d) Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
e) At the end, take a print out of the application form.

Assam ITI Admission Process
Admission process to various ITIs of Assam involves following stages.
i) After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.
ii) Candidates should note that after successful verification, they may fill their choices of trades and ITIs according to their preference, to enable them to participate in the allotment process.
iii) Allotted candidates should take admission in their allotted seats otherwise their candidature will be treated as cancelled.
iv) The passed out candidates from NCVT trades will be issued NCVT certificates & from SCVT trades will be issued SCVT certificates.
Counseling for ITI Admission
After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars. Next, the candidate has to fill his choices & save his choice within the stipulated time period as declared by the DE&CT Assam in counselling schedule.
After the choice filling is over, all filled choices of all registered candidates will be considered for allotment of seats as per merit (Rank) & category of the candidate. The allotment will be made against one seat & the allotment of seat is purely provisional.
The counselling process will be online only.
Counseling Schedule for ITI Admission
During the ITI counselling process, candidates have to submit their option for the course and college of their choice to get admission.Counselling for Assam ITI Admission 2022 is to be started in due course as per the admission schedule.
Seat Reservation in ITI Admission
Candidates need to pay a certain amount as admission fee to get admission in different ITIs of Assam. Here are the admission fees that is fixed for current academic session.
FOR NCVT & SCVT trades:
i) Tuition Fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year) | Rs.1200/- (for two years)
ii) Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/-
iii) Registration Fees: Rs.25/-
iv) Medical Examination, Fees: Rs. 25/-
v) Trainees Union Fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/-
vi) Hostel Service Charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable)
vii) Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/ (where applicable)
$$ For BPL Candidates, the payment of Tuition fees is waived off, except SCVT under IMC courses.
For SCVT under IMC courses (on payment of higher course fee):
i) For Non Engineering courses: Rs.15,000/- per year
ii) For Engineering course: Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years)
